Each year we award several talent based scholarships to camp participants. Students must submit an audition recording to be considered for a talent based scholarship. Please review the submission requirements below.

- Submit an audio recording of a solo piece that is at the district level. Legitimate classical solo works for the instrument should be performed. Submissions that are not solo pieces will not be considered for scholarship.
(Please check your Jr. District, Sr. District or All-State audition pieces for examples, or write to the executive director).
(2) excerpts (3-5 minutes total) – fast to demonstrate technical skill & slow demonstrating tone quality & expression - Recordings must be submitted in one of the following formats: MP3, MP4, wav, or aiff, along with a pdf copy of the work, with clearly marked beginning and ending for performed excerpts.
- Online registration form and registration fee must be completed to be considered for a scholarship.

Please Note:
All bass auditions must be performed on upright string bass and must include at least 1 movement from a classical concerto or sonata.
All piano auditions must include 2 contrasting movements from a classical concerto or sonata.
All guitar auditions must include a standard song or jazz classic. Guitar applicants should be prepared to play the melody, play an improvised solo on the form, and play the rhythm accompaniment.
