Jazz Ensembles
During our weekly ensemble block, students will be placed into
an ensemble, but have the opportunity, if they would like to play
jazz, to be placed in 1of 3 jazz ensembles, or percussion ensemble,
clarinet choir, masterclasses and more. All students will be placed in a
group during this time period.
For Jazz (only) we seat students by ability, and offer three levels.
We will listen to students on check-in night, after classical seating
placement. Our jazz ensembles comrpised of saxes, trumpets,
trombones also use a full rhythm section (piano, drums, ebass, gtr).
